Mexican Culture

Mexican culture is varied. Many of the pre-Hispanic family of Mexican culture the most important things would be respected family unity, hard work, and solidarity among its family. Other aspects of their culture are the food and the music. The food will be the tequila, tacos, tamales, posole, enchiladas, gordita's and chilesrellenos. Their music is varied depending on each state. For example, in Monterrey they listen to northern music and Durango they listen to the band. Depending on the state of their music and the food is varied. Among their culture, there are many national holidays but two of them are very important they are the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe that the day that is celebrated on December twelve and the other is el dia de los muertos the day that is celebrated on November two.
The day of the Virgin of Guadalupe is celebrated differently that el dia de los muertos, the day of the Virgin of Guadalupe celebrates by visiting all the basilicas from all the states they bring floral gifts and matachines to the virgin, and el dia de los muertos they celebrate by visiting their loved ones in their graves bringing them flowers and mariachis or some object to their deceased that wanted more in life. In schools also they put altars to the dead. The altars are shaped by skull-shaped candies and pan de muerto. Another no less important is the Holy week. Where Jesus Christ's crucifixion is commemorated and praise by seven meals. The meals are fish, nopales, rice with chickpea, lentils, broad bean, capirotada, and chard. One more tradition is the three king day is celebrated on January six. It is celebrated by eating bread in the form of a thread which carries three mini dolls representing the child Jesus. Then distributes bread among the guests and the person who has mini dolls has to make tamales in February second in the Candlemas day.
Mexican are very passion of soccer when is a big game like the world cup or just a simple game they get all excited. When is the World Cup they can go see it anywhere for example to a restaurant, in a friend house or they can put a big screen at a park. Just to get the chance to see for team play. In conclusion is that Mexican culture has interesting traditions. They have more traditions that are very interesting to know more about.
